Property component
Elecampane (Inula helenium) roots and rhizoms improve carbohydrates and lipids metabolism, reduce sugar level in blood due to such components as inulin and inulenin. Vegetable bitterness of elecampane stimulates liver and gallbladder and digestive system in general.
Essential oil (up to 4%), having a bactericidal effect, suppresses intestine inflammation.
